As an added service to students, the University Libraries will provide extra hours of operation during dead week and final exams week this semester. Beginning Friday, November 30th, and continuing until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14th, Bizzell Memorial Library will remain open 24 hours.
OU police officers will be on duty in the library during the extended hours and only OU students, faculty and staff will be allowed to use the library between 12:00 midnight and 7:30 am. Anyone entering the library between those hours will be asked to present a valid OU identification card.
Regular library services such as reference and computer assistance will not be available during the extended hours. The Digitizing & Copying Center and the Current Periodicals area will not have extended hours. Reserve books and library materials may be checked out during extended hours.
