This one-hour class will cover the history of the OU Documents Collection and focus on its resources for research. Originating in 1893, the OU Government Documents Collection is a 90% Federal Depository which houses 2.9 million items, including US Federal, State of Oklahoma, and international documents. Access to government information will be discussed, as well as databases for government research including the ProQuest Congressional database and the Congressional Quarterly databases. It will take place at Bizzell Memorial Library in the Government Documents Collection on the 4th floor on Monday, February 11 from 2:00-3:00PM and an identical session will take place on Tuesday, February 12 from 10:00-11:00AM.
