12/02/2010 - Winter Holidays Exhibit in History of Science Collections

Need a break while studying for finals? Come view the current exhibit, featuring notable treasures of the History of Science Collections by Nicolas Copernicus, Andreas Vesalius, William Harvey, Johann Kepler, Galileo and Isaac Newton. In addition, rare works related to the winter holidays are on display, including illustrations of the north pole, reindeer, mistletoe and holly, along with works about the winter solstice and the star of Bethlehem, and an illuminated medieval manuscript.

No appointment is necessary.To visit the Collections, enter Bizzell on the west side, by the clock tower. Take one of the elevators by the Circulation Desk to the 5th floor. The Collections are immediately on your left as you exit the elevator. For more information, please call (405)325-2741.
