The major databases for social work research are Social Work Abstracts, which indexes social work journal literature; SocINDEX, which covers sociology and related fields; and PsycINFO, which includes psychology and psychotherapy resources. To search all three simultaneously, use the search box below.
Depending on the research topic, many of the additional databases may also be useful. Click "More" to see
a complete list of databases, and hover over "info" to see what each
one contains. Most of the databases concentrate on journal articles;
however, some also contain other resources, such as book chapters,
dissertations, conference proceedings, videos, or test reviews.
