Crime and Punishment
Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Dostoyevsky’s Crime and Punishment brilliantly exposes the personal – and societal – calamity of moral relativism. Francis Schaeffer’s The God Who is There illuminates the path home: Refuse to live a com-partmentalized life. To live a life of the mind that is incompatible with the life of the heart is foolish and dangerous. The God Who is There may not provide everyone’s resolution, but it convinced me that the effort is worthwhile.
