OU grad Bill Hancock's life was forever changed by the death of his son, Will, in the 2001 Oklahoma State basketball plane crash. Facing enormous emotional pain, but still working hard to be strong for his family, Bill eventually realized the only way to progress was by "putting one foot in front of the other." One of these steps was following through on a cross-country bicycle trip he had hoped to share with Will. The journey, while challenging, turns out to be great therapy for Bill and true inspiration for me as I "rode" along the pages with him.
