Ancient Egyptian Medicine
John F. Nunn

For those interested in art, medicine, and/or life (in general), of ancient Egypt, John Nunn’s book is an intriguing read. I came to his book in my quest to understand Egyptian art and found inspiration in its extensive research/information. Nunn compares/contrasts Egyptian texts/art with various scholars’ works (bibliography presented) and provides numerous charts/diagrams/illustrations to quantify/vivify his words. It is evident that Nunn (retired, British Medical Research Council) has studied ancient Egyptian medicine extensively. It is a pleasure to recommend his book. As readers will find, it is enjoyable “-a million times!”
