Autobiography of a Yogi
Paramahansa Yogananda

For me, Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda was a portal to a world of answers for a lifetime of questions. The story of Yogananda’s life and influence on religion in India and the United States is indeed remarkable, as are the stories of the saints and gurus he encountered. By itself this makes the book very interesting reading; however, it is also a fascinating introduction to the science of yoga.

Yogananda’s divine mission was to bring the knowledge of this science to the West and teach the harmony of the fundamental truths in Christianity and Hinduism.
