I Don’t Know How She Does It: The Life of Kate Reddy, Working Mother
Allison Pearson

This book is a definitive social comedy of working motherhood. Working mothers know that attempting to balance the endless demands of both career and family can often leave you feeling overworked and sometimes out of control. Allison Pearson’s novel says the things that working mothers feel but never dare to speak of. She does so with humor, drama and bracing wisdom.

This book validated personal feelings that I had regarding my own career versus the adventures of motherhood. It made me feel like I was not alone in the struggle to balance both work and life on the home front.
