| | Alice in Wonderland Lewis Carroll |
"Curiouser and Curiouser!" This phrase typifies the nonsensical world created by Lewis Carroll in Alice in Wonderland. This book opened my young mind to the fanciful and delightfully ridiculous world that can be found in books. The strange and beautiful characters, clever use of language, and absurd situations Carroll crafted are unlike any other. I look forward to sharing it with my children, allowing them to daydream and explore the illogical, and pushing myself to retain that childlike quality seen only in young imaginations. "Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
