Think and Grow Rich: A Black Choice
Dennis Paul Kimbro and Napoleon Hill
More by This Author
Dennis Kimbro’s book,
Think and Grow Rich: A Black Choice
is inspirational, informative, motivational, educational, exciting, engaging and eye opening. It is based upon a study of high achieving and successful black Americans.
At the time I read this book, I was a young, head track and field coach at the University of Miami. This book helped to mold me in many aspects of my life, including an awareness of my own strengths and weaknesses. It gave me a profound understanding that obstacles are only life’s challenges, and that adversity can be handled in a positive way. Furthermore, it inspired me to make choices that assisted me dealing with issues that occur in athletics and my personal life. However, I believe one of the most important characteristics of the book is that it encourages everyone, regardless of race or gender, to set goals and pursue their dreams.
