The Precious Present by Dr. Spencer Johnson, M.D., illustrates the importance of giving pause to life's hectic schedule. For me, this book was instrumental in making me realize the importance of living in the moment and pacing myself to meet everyday challenges and obligations. I continue to learn how important it is to take time out to appreciate success. I also recognize how important it is to "let things go." Dr. Johnson has a wonderful ability to teach through stories and in a manner that is unique and easily understood. This book has been the gift I have given most often to others. The message is lucid and valuable.
