Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
Robert M. Pirsig

I have read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance numerous times, always being drawn to it at defining moments in my life. It is not an "easy read," but the effort expended has paid exponential dividends. Pirsig writes philosophy as a novel and takes the reader on a journey, not only across the continent; but also through one's own values in a quest to understand Quality. Over the years, this quest, which I began with Pirsig, son Chris, and the mysterious Phaedrus when I was a teenager, has become a fundamental driving force in my professional and personal life.
