Paging Request for an Item from Off-Site Storage
This form is for local non-OU affiliated patrons requesting items held at off-site storage units only.
OU affiliated patrons should log into the library website with their 4x4 and submit a Sooner Xpress
Borrowing libraries interested in requesting items should email Interlibrary Loan
IF YOU ARE REQUESTING AN OU THESIS/DISSERTAION FROM STORAGE: Please note that this is an archival copy and will only be
provided if the copies available on campus are defective or missing and the electronic copy, if available, is incomplete.
If you fill in this form we will first try to locate an electronic or circulating copy.
Where can these materials be used?
- Archive Dissertations from the Annex must be used in the Government Documents Department Reading Room on the fourth floor of Bizzell Library.
- Monographs from off-site storage may be checked out with a borrower’s permit. Microforms may be used in the Government Documents department on the fourth floor of Bizzell Library.
- Requested materials must be viewed at or retrieved from Bizzell Library and cannot be mailed off campus.
How long will it take to get the item?
- Your item should be available within 48 hours (excluding weekends). You will be notified via email once your item is
ready for pick-up or if there are any problems regarding the request. If items go unclaimed for 10 days they will be reshelved.
