FEE GUIDELINES for DIGITAL REPRODUCTIONS OF PHOTOGRAPHS

PRINTS: The technicalities involved in copying and printing each order make it impossible to quote definitive prices for photographs, but the following may be used as a general guide to the costs for most prints.

RUSH FEE:Most orders will be filled within three to four weeks. Rush orders are processed within two weeks. Rush orders are assessed an additional fee of $50 - $200. Please contact the Western History Collections to determine if a rush order is possible.

USE FEE:Applicable to commercial use of photographs with permission for one time non-exclusive use. If your project is of a limited non-commercial nature, please send us a written description of your project, and we will be happy to review your request for partial or full use fee waiver. The use of photographs in some collections requires a higher use fee, but in general, the use fee per photograph is......................................................$50.00 - $500.00

Photographs cannot be sent out on approval. We suggest you request photocopies.

PRE-PAYMENT IS REQUIRED ON ALL PHOTOGRAPHIC ORDERS. Please make your check or money order payable to the University of Oklahoma. Caution: It is suggested that photographs intended for display in areas where fluorescent lighting is used should be framed with ultraviolet ray filtering Plexiglas to protect against fading. Consult a professional framer. The Western History Collections assumes no liability for replacing photographs that have faded due to excessive light source.
