Users must manually transfer their saved items in “My Library” in the legacy site to “My Favorites” on the refreshed site.

University of Oklahoma Libraries will go live with a refreshed website Monday, July 31, at 9 am.

A beta version of the site has been available since May 2023 for user testing and feedback ahead of going live before the start of the fall semester.

Changes to the UL website will enhance user experience and access to online library resources. Users will find updated layouts, navigation, branding, and organization.

What users need to know about the refreshed site:

  • Users will need to transfer their saved items in “My Library” on the legacy site to “My Favorites” on the refreshed site. Their saved items will not transfer to the refreshed site.
  • Saved items under “My Account” and “My ILL” WILL migrate to the refreshed site.
  • Saved bookmarks will still work. The Libraries web team will be monitoring error reports to add additional redirects to the refreshed site, if needed.
  • Users who encounter a broken link will be directed to a 404 error page with contact information to fix the link.
