04/30/2014 - Study Spaces in Bizzell & Avoiding the Construction Noise

Study areas are designated throughout Bizzell Memorial Library.

Quiet(er) Spaces:

The Great Reading Room, located on the 2nd floor of the original 1929 building, is designated as a quiet area. The 1958 addition on the 3rd and 4th floors are also designated quiet study spaces.

General Study Areas

Tables with chairs and couches on Lower Level I & II, Main, 2nd, 3rd, 4th floors.

Group Study Areas

Students may use the study tables on Lower Level I in the Bizzell Memorial Library (1958 building addition) to work on assignments that require group discussion or collaboration. This is in addition to the group study rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors of Bizzell. The following rooms are designated group study on the third floor (306, 310, 314, 314A, 314B, 317, 321, 335) and on the fourth floor (424, 406, 410, 414, 414A, 414B, 417, 421, 425.) The group study rooms as well as the tables on Lower Level I are available on a first-come, first serve basis.
