Beginning July 1, visitors to OU Libraries website will see a new feature. "Bizzy" is a chatbot, a virtual assistant which uses machine learning to answer routine questions. Bizzy will appear on the libraries website, libraries.ou.edu, when OU Libraries live-chat services offered through "Ask Us!
" are unavailable.
Now, students can receive immediate responses to basic questions and get connected to the best source for answers to more complex inquiries. The chatbot can also provide responses to questions asked using natural language rather than structured (author/title/subject) searches.
