Student Library Assistant I (Western History Collection)
Performs routine library duties at the Western History Collections reference desk. Assists patrons in the reading room, Retrieves and shelves library and manuscript materials on a daily basis. Performs other duties as assigned. 

Student Library Assistant I (Circulation)
Performs routine duties in the Circulation Department of Bizzell Memorial Library, including working with the public, charging and discharging materials, sorting, and answering inquiries.

Student Library Assistant I (Media Resource Center)
Interacts with the public when working the MRC counter; answers questions relating to various media; sorts material; must have a flexible schooled to allow working evenings and/or weekends. Performs other related duties as assigned.



Administrative Assistant I (BL5 Special Collections)
This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of BL5 Special Collections' administrative office and public service desks. Basic functions include coordination of personnel and payroll processes, maintenance of daily and monthly statistics, filing systems, and annual reporting, and supervision of clerical support staff, graduate research assistants, and student library assistants. The position also coordinates services for off-site patrons including image production and interlibrary loan, and serves as the main contact point for facilities management and library technology. Informatics Specialist
The Informatics Specialist works to support research through a wide range of services, skills and collaborations. Based in OU Libraries and working closely with the Research Data Specialist, Emerging Tech Librarians, ETL-Visualization Specialists and the Director of Repository Services, this position will be responsible for helping to develop and set up learning spaces, fab labs, data visualization and innovation centers connected to a main innovation hub.

IT Analyst II (Imagineer)
Reporting to Fred Reiss and is housed at the Library Service Center, the Metadata Imagineer will use analysis and programming skills along with their knowledge of metadata, this person will work collaboratively with our metadata creation teams, digital scholarship, research data and other departments as well as the library and university administration to ensure that the investment made in metadata is used to its full potential. This position will soon be available for application at

Media Resource Center Assistant 
Reporting to the Media Resource Center Librarian, this half-time position assists with digitizing the School of  Music sound and video archive and cataloging incoming School of Music performance recordings; provide assistance to student employees and serving as backup at the Fine Arts Library circulation desk when necessary.

Staff Assistant III (Bindery and Invoice Processing) 
Applications are now being accepted for a Staff Assistant III position in University Libraries for the Acquisitions department. Located at the Library Service Center, this position ensures that invoices for all materials purchased by University Libraries through the Acquisitions Department are input correctly in the Libraries' online repository. It is responsible for processing invoices for the purchase of over $10,000,000 of materials annually. This position maintains the timely payment of invoices and ensures that all bindery processes are efficiently conducted and recorded, as well as serving as the primary liaison between the Libraries and the bindery.
