EDGE Overview

In this workshop, we will discuss the motivations for and aims of this flexible tinkering space. Participants will come away from this presentation knowing what tools and training are offered by OU Libraries new EDGE space, and how they might incorporate the capabilities of the space into their existing scholarly pursuits. Examples of ongoing (and completed) EDGE-based projects (including specialized 3D prints, VR applications, and inspiring Microcontroller projects) will be exhibited. Please register for this event.

Dream Course Lecture: Antonio Barrera

December 3, 2015 - 4:30pm to 6:00pm

Associate Professor of History, Africana, and Latin American Studies, and History Department Chair, Colgate University, Dr. Antonio Barrera will give a public lecture on "Traveling and Instructions in the Making of Modern Science (1550-1650)". The Lecture will take place Thursday, December 3rd from 4:30-6 PM in Bizzell Memorial Library, Room  LL118.

The signature event for Galileo’s World will consist of an all-day lecture series exploring the connections and themes of the exhibition and their implications to modern research and innovation.
