Chip, the Little Doctor, Pink, Irish, Big Medicine, and the other boys of the Flying U are here again in another thrilling tale, alive with the vigorous and breezy atmosphere of the fast-changing Montana ranch country.
The Flying U Ranch was forced to its last stand when Florence Hallman sent a company of school teachers and farmers to take up claims on its grazing range. She miscalculated the character of Andy Green and tried to engage him to soothe anxious settlers inquiring about subsoils and water, instead of which Andy and the other boys in the Happy Family put in their claims first so as to surround the ranch – and then the fireworks started.
