Bizzell Room Reservation Policies

To ensure fair access to library spaces, OU faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students and staff are restricted in the number of reservations they may hold at once. This policy provides an overview of those specifications.  For room specific policies or features, please use the Reserve a Room tool. Undergraduate Students

To ensure fair access to study rooms, undergraduate students may have up to seven active reservations at one time.

Group Study Rooms

  • Group study rooms may be reserved for up to two hours per reservation.
  • Groups with confirmed reservations have priority use of group study rooms. Unreserved rooms may be used on a first come, first served basis.

Faculty & Graduate Students

To ensure fair access to library spaces, faculty and graduate students may have up to seven active reservations at one time per room type.

Consultations Rooms

  • Consultation rooms are intended for graduate students and faculty meetings with undergraduates who do not have access to restricted areas in the Zarrow Family Faculty & Graduate Student Center.
  • Consultations rooms may be scheduled for up to two hours per reservation.
  • Reservations may be made up to one month in advance.
  • Unreserved rooms may be used on a first come, first served basis.

Collaboration Rooms

  • Collaboration rooms may be scheduled for up to four hours per reservation.
  • Reservations may be made up to one month in advance.
  • Unreserved rooms may be used on a first come, first served basis.
  • These rooms are available only to OU faculty and graduate students.

Meeting Rooms

  • Policies for meeting rooms vary by room. View the information page for each meeting room to determine applicable policies for the desired meeting room.
  • Meeting rooms may be scheduled for up to four or eight hours per reservation, depending on the meeting room.
  • Reservations may be made up to one or three months in advance, depending on the meeting room.
  • Unreserved rooms may be used on a first come, first served basis.
  • These rooms are available only to OU faculty and graduate students.

Focus Rooms

  • Focus rooms may be scheduled for up to eight hours per reservation for faculty and up to four hours per reservation for graduate students.
  • Reservations may be made up to one month in advance.
  • Unreserved rooms may be used on a first come, first served basis.
