Senior Libraries Web Developer
The University of Oklahoma Libraries seeks to recruit a Senior Libraries Web Developer. Working as a member of the University Libraries’ Digital Strategies & Innovation division and reporting to the CID Technical Manager, the Senior Web Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of the libraries’ websites, including libraries.ou.edu, which supports over 1.3 million views per year from users with a wide variety of information and research needs and provides access to many of the core research tools used on campus. The Financial Coordinator for University Libraries has critical financial responsibilities consisting of purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and deposits for a unit with a $21M budget. The coordinator works with OU PeopleSoft and OU Foundation accounts. This includes managing and reconciling all department accounts, organizing, and processing thousands of transactions per year including complex library requisitions for domestic and international vendors, purchase order tracking, payment of invoices, journal entries, cost transfers and data entry in QuickBooks for all operations and collections transactions. Collections related purchase orders involve a complex budgeting and tracking system made up of 50 library collections-specific account codes that are part of the library management system and necessary for the required reporting for collection expense tracking and reporting to the Association of Research Libraries.
