Web Content Editor

The University Libraries seeks to recruit a collaborative, detail-oriented Web Content Editor with experience in professional writing and customer service to join our team. Working within the Digital Strategies and Innovation division, this position reports to the Web Development Team Lead. The successful candidate will be joining the unit that maintains the technical infrastructure and development for services used to support research, teaching, learning, and scholarly communication. The successful candidate will partner with staff from across University Libraries to make sure that our websites and applications provide high-quality, consistent, accurate, and up-to-date information for our users. Research Informatics Specialist

The University Libraries seeks to recruit a technical professional who has a passion for the higher education environment to support data-intensive research and digital scholarship projects. The Research Informatics Specialist is a member of the Digital Scholarship and Data Services department which resides within the Digital Strategies and Innovation division. Reporting to the Director of Digital Scholarship and Data Services, this role performs information engineering in the form of automation, storage, and retrieval of information through the use and development of cyberinfrastructure.
The primary support focus for this role is research endeavors spanning STEM, Social Science, and Digital Humanities, and may be included in grants as a project resource. The Research Informatics Specialist works closely with other researcher support roles. Digital Scholarship Librarian

The University of Oklahoma Libraries is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Digital Scholarship Librarian. Working in the Bizzell Memorial Library, within the Digital Strategies and Innovation Division, this position reports to the Director of Digital Scholarship and Data Services. The successful candidate should have an awareness of digital scholarship and digital humanities in academic libraries and a collaborative approach to project delivery. 
The Digital Scholarship Librarian will be part of a team responsible for supporting data-intensive digital research and scholarship services, including research data management and visualization, 3D scanning and printing, AR/VR offerings, and informatics.
This position will support faculty and student digital research projects with guidance from the Director of Digital Scholarship and Data Services, ranging from short and long-term consultations (e.g., helping to identify appropriate methods, tools, and training resources) to more intensive, hands-on assistance with technology solutions for digital scholarship. As a supporting role in the Libraries digital scholarship services, this position delivers library instruction, reference services, instructional guides and research aids within the scope of their domain. This role will participate in research technology assessments, answer patron questions, compile data, and represent the Libraries digital scholarship services to internal and external users. Serials and Electronic Resources Assistant (Acquisitions Administrative Support Specialist)

The Serials and Electronic Resources Assistant collects usage data for books, databases, and electronic journals, both compiling spreadsheets with data and monitoring SUSHI harvesting loads within Alma. This position has regular communication with vendors to investigate issues with usage reports and access issues. The position systematically monitors electronic access and maintains the library’s electronic resource records. This includes monitoring Community Zone task lists to identify issues in changes automatically initiated by Ex Libris to ensure ongoing access to electronic resources. Other duties include projects to compare and update publisher collections and proactively check for online access to subscribed titles. This requires understanding complex issues related to serials and electronic resources. The Serials and Electronic Resources Assistant also manages monthly supply requests for the department and other duties as assigned to fulfill the function of the position. Requisition #241025
