Overview

OU Libraries maintain several platforms that provide core services to students, faculty, and staff. These systems require routine maintenance and updates that, at times, can cause intermittent outages and disruptions of services. These planned outages are necessary to maintain the health and wellbeing of the libraries core technology.

The Digital Innovation and Development Division of OU Libraries has created a schedule for maintenance windows throughout the year where these kinds of changes can be scheduled to minimize impact on services. The maintenance window will occur every Monday between 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A notification will be posted on the the libraries website several days before planned outages, and will indicate which systems may be affected.
