Student Library Assistant I / HCLC - Spring
This position will work in the Collaborative Learning Center located in Bizzell Library. The workers in the position will be interacting with student, staff and faculty as the library brings to life a new vision for library services and spaces at the University of Oklahoma. The student assistant will work with library partners to assist fellow students and patrons with technology and other issues in the space. The student will perform various duties including troubleshooting, and provide AV support for meetings and special events. They will also utilize emerging technologies to work on exciting new projects from audio and video editing to data visualization. Requisition #170007


Staff Assistant II (Catalog Maintenance)
Reporting to Stephen Rogers, this position handles processing of transfers, de-selections and reinstatements of library materials. The Staff Assistant II also updates records in the OU Libraries' resource management system, participates in UL resource management system clean-up projects and performs special projects as needed. Director of Development and Donor Relations
As a member of the dean's senior leadership team, leads the University Libraries development initiatives that include the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors. Responsible for setting the strategic direction for all fundraising and donor engagement and directing related activities in support of these programs. The director is also responsible for administrative duties that include prospect database management, portfolio management, various reporting vehicles, and partnering with the University Libraries team, University Development and the OU Foundation. Director of Special Collections
The Director of Special Collections provides leadership and strategic vision for the University of Oklahoma Libraries’ special collections, comprised of manuscripts, rare books, maps, photographs, art, artifacts, and audio, video, and digital collections.  The Director must be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the changing nature of today’s research libraries and the implications for special collections.  The position serves as a member of the Libraries’ senior leadership team and works closely with the Libraries’ Chief Technology Officer on special collections digital initiatives. Requisition #170761

Geology Librarian & Youngblood Energy Library Branch Manager
 OU Libraries seeks a dynamic, innovative, collaborative and highly motivated individual to manage the Laurence S. Youngblood Energy Library and serve as a liaison to the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy. The Youngblood Energy Library Manager & Geology Librarian develops and maintains positive working relationships with faculty, students, staff and scholars as well as other campus constituencies in ways that enhance the strategic investment of OU in libraries as part of the research and learning infrastructure of the institution. This position has the opportunity to partner with library specialists in scholarly communication, open educational resources, emerging technologies, data management, and geospatial information systems to support the learning and research needs of the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy. As a subject liaison, the Youngblood Energy Library Manager & Geology Librarian develops the collections related to geology, geophysics, and petroleum engineering; participates in the library instruction program; provides on-site consultations for faculty and students; and coordinates library-related public programming, including events and exhibits. As a branch manager, this position supervises a full-time employee and serves as a member of the libraries’ management council. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong vision for transforming the physical and technological infrastructure of the Youngblood Energy Library to better serve today’s faculty and students. Managerial Associate I, Executive Assistant to the Dean
The Executive Assistant to the Dean position will provide professional administrative support for the Dean of University Libraries. The Assistant to the Dean is responsible for coordinating the Dean's schedule and providing support in all facets of travel, including making travel and lodging arrangements, registering for conferences, and preparing travel claims. The position participates in arranging events and meetings with library donors, board members and visitors. The Assistant to the Dean acts as a team leader for the dean's administrative office personnel, completes assignments that include drafting correspondence, filing, processing of incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining confidential records and information, coordinating appointment calendars for the dean and senior team members, and acts as liaison to other university administrative offices. The Assistant to the Dean researches, collects, and analyzes data and information to prepare written reports, assist with presentations and respond to inquiries. This position plans, coordinates, and oversees special activities or projects. The University Libraries seeks an outgoing, energetic and mature individual who is experienced in supporting executive level positions and has a proven record of maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
