Monnet Hall

Pre-Registration and Check-In

Pre-registration through the appointment process is required. When you arrive in Monnet Hall, take the stairs to Room 300 or press 5 in the elevator. The elevator is near the south entrance of the building. Stop at the reference desk, and check in with a photo ID. You will be asked to place your bags in the designated area. We have closed stacks (no browsing) and all materials will be brought by a staff member to your table for viewing.

Fees

Fees for copy and research services vary. Note: credit cards are not accepted. Payments must be by cash or check.

View copy fees for books, manuscripts and photographs on our policies page.

Borrowing

The Western History Collections does not loan books, manuscripts, or other materials for research. This means we are a "non-circulating" library. Contact the Western History Collections to view all books, manuscripts, photos, and other materials on site in our reading room in Monnet Hall, Room 300.
