Publisher Discount for OU-affiliated Authors
American Society for Microbiology (ASM) Beginning in January 2025, via the S20 Subscribe to Open model, OU-Norman authors are eligible to publish in ASM's six primary research, subscription-based journals without incurring article processing charges (APCs). Page charges and supplemental material fee discounts are available.
Association for Computer Machinery (ACM) OU-Norman authors may publish open access at no additional cost beginning January 2023.

Cambridge University Press   
 

Via a Read & Publish transformative agreement through the Greater Western Library Alliance (GWLA), OU authors are eligible for complete waivers of open access publishing costs for articles accepted for publication in Cambridge University Press journals from January 1, 2024-December 31, 2024. Canadian Science Publishing   
Frontiers As of June 1, 2024, OU Libraries renewed our agreement with Frontiers for one more year. Our agreement will continue to provide OU authors with a 15% discount on article processing charges for open access articles, but please note that this is subject to change next year. 

MDPI   
 
OU Libraries' membership to MDPI provides OU authors with a 10% discount on APCs.
Open Library of the Humanities
There are no author fees to publish in OLH open access journals.   
 
Oxford University Press Via a Read & Publish transformative agreement, OU authors may publish open access at no additional cost from January 2022-December 2025. This agreement helps shift library spending from subscription-based reading toward open access publishing.
PeerJ OU authors may publish open access at no additional cost from August 2023-July 2024 in any PeerJ journal.
Rockefeller University Press OU-Norman authors may publish open access at no additional cost from January 2023-December 2024.
Royal Society of Chemistry  Beginning in January 2025, OU-Norman authors may publish Gold open access at no additional cost under the Royal Society of Chemistry agreement.
