Who Can Use This Service

OU faculty members who have onboarded with a member of DSDS and undergone review from a faculty advisory board.

What HubRepo is Used For

HubRepo functions as one tool that will be part of a larger ecosystem of the library’s Hub and Studios. HubRepo is used to promote and publish faculty’s digital projects. This includes projects that may have been hosted on OUCreate, or new digital projects that are in development.

Platforms Currently Available

  • Wordpress: Best for blogs, digital editions
  • Omeka: Best for digital collections, exhibits
  • Static Sites: There are many ways to develop static sites (either manually, or through a static site generator like eleventy, or through a framework like CollectionBuilder). If you want to develop a scholarly static site, OULibraries can host it via HubRepo.

How to Get Started

To host your scholarly project on HubRepo, complete the following tasks:

  • Schedule a consultation to chat with the DSDS team about your project.
  • Accept the terms of service.
  • Submit an overview of your project’s scholarly impact and sustainability plan for review and approval by the incoming advisory board.
  • Attend an onboarding training on the cPanel.
