Nicholas Wojcik

Nicholas Wojcik joined OU Libraries in 2007 in the Current Periodicals & Microforms unit before working as a librarian and archivist for the Sam Noble Museum, Oklahoma Historical Society, and the Thomas C. Oden Rare Books Collection. He rejoined OU Libraries as the Scholarly Publishing Librarian in 2020. In his role in the Open Initiatives & Scholarly Communication department, he leads the planning, development, and implementation of OU Libraries’ open access journal publishing program.
Nicholas is the recipient of the 2011 George L. Cross Superior Performance Award from OU where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Master of Library and Information Studies. He is certified in Creative Commons licensing, an active member of the Library Publishing Coalition, and former editor of the Southwestern Archivist.
