Libraries Instruction & Liaison Services

The Libraries Instruction & Liaison Services team provides the OU community with subject expertise and assistance with literature, analyses, and digital tools through consultations, workshops, and instruction sessions. Our subject expertise focuses on topics across the humanities, social sciences, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

About the Team

  • Subject Librarians - Each subject and department on campus has a dedicated subject librarian. A subject librarian is responsible for staying acquainted with information literacy in the subject field, and they also serve as the point of contact for students, faculty, and staff in the department who need library services or resources. Visit the Find an Expert page to see names and contact information for each one.
  • Library Instruction Team - The Library Instruction Team is responsible for the coordination and implementation of instruction sessions requested by faculty for their students. Visit the Instruction & Course Support page for more information about this service.
