Acquisitions

The Acquisitions Department is responsible for ordering, claiming, receiving, and processing invoices for materials that have been selected for the collections in all formats: books, serials, music scores, videos, manuscripts, microforms, and electronic resources. Other duties include receiving and processing bindery shipments. Acquisitions is also responsible for the mailroom, which delivers mail and library materials to several branch libraries and special collections across campus in addition to all the departments within Bizzell.
