Bio
Nicholas Wojcik joined OU Libraries in 2020 as the Scholarly Publishing Librarian. In his role in the Open Initiatives & Scholarly Communication unit, he supports the planning, development, and implementation of the Libraries' existing and future scholarly publishing services, including open access journal publishing and institutional repository initiatives. He also coordinates the Libraries' Profiles in Open series, highlighting OU scholars who are advocates for open access and publish their work openly.
Nicholas is the recipient of the 2011 George L. Cross Superior Performance Award from OU where he earned his Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) degree and a Bachelor's in Art History. He is an active member of the Library Publishing Coalition's Directory Committee and the former editor of The Southwestern Archivist.
