The Special Research Collections is a division of OU Libraries that oversees the strategic development of eight individual collections: American School of Architecture Archive, Chinese Literature Translation Archive, Daniel J. and Ruth F. Boorstin Collection, Harry W. Bass Business Collection, History of Science Collections, John and Mary Nichols Rare Books & Special Collections, and the Western History Collections.
The Western History Collections is located in Monnet Hall on the north oval. All other Special Research Collections are located in Bizzell Memorial Library.

Access to the Collections
Appointments are suggested for visits to OU Libraries Special Research Collections. See the individual collection pages for information about access and holdings. Pre-registration and consultation with a librarian are recommended prior to arrival, especially for non-local visitors.
