E-Resources for Psychology

Provides access to transcripts of therapy sessions, diaries, letters, autobiographies, oral histories, and personal memoirs. Also includes access to major reference works addressing topics in counseling and mental health. Full text is available.

Provides access to collections 1 & 2, which includes videos available for the study of social work, psychotherapy, psychology, and psychiatric counseling. Includes video of counseling session demonstrations, consultations, lectures, presentations, and interviews.

Provides access to an archive of raw social science data for research and instruction. As a member of ICPSR, the OU community has unlimited access and downloads; sign up for an ICPSR login to access content. Mental Measurements Yearbook provides information and reviews about standardized tests covering educational skills, personality, vocational aptitude, psychology, and related areas. Tests in Print serves as a comprehensive bibliography to all known commercially available tests that are currently in print in the English language. It includes test purpose, test publisher, in-print status, price, test acronym, intended test population, administration times, publication date, and test author.

Contains full text to some Oxford books in the areas of biology, psychology, social work, linguistics, economics and finance, neuroscience, philosophy, political science, religion, and public health.

PsycARTICLES is a database of full-text articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association, the APA Educational Publishing Foundation, the Canadian Psychological Association, and Hogrefe & Huber. The database includes all material from the print journals.

PsycBooks provides access to over 4,600 scholarly and professional titles published by the American Psychological Association. Titles include historical and classic works from the behavioral and social sciences. Updated monthly, this collection also includes all volumes of the APA Handbooks in Psychology Series, APA Classic books, the exclusive electronic release of the APA/Oxford University Press Encyclopedia of Psychology, and hard-to-find and out-of-print books dating back to the 1600s.

This database, created by the American Psychological Association, contains over 900 streaming videos and covers over 245 topics and 100 therapy approaches, including integrated behavioral healthcare, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. These videos are geared toward graduates and post-graduates and allow for observing candid, unscripted psychotherapy sessions featuring over 145 renowned therapists.
