Formerly known as American Bibliography of Slavic & Eastern European Studies (ABSEES), this interdisciplinary database covers Slavic and East European studies in regards to the social sciences and humanities. Materials indexed include journal articles, books, book chapters, book reviews, dissertations, online resources, and selected government publications on East-Central Europe and the former Soviet Union published in the United States and Canada. This database replaces the print edition of ABSEES and is now exclusively online.

American and French Research on the Treasury of the French Language (ARTFL) covers classic works of French literature, non-fiction prose, and technical writing from the 13th through the 20th century. Some full text is available.

Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO) provides access to materials in international affairs, including working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, proceedings from conferences, books, journals, and policy briefs. Founded in 1949, the Current Digest was first published as The Current Digest of the Soviet Press (1949-1991), followed by The Current Digest of the Post-Soviet Press (1992-2010), and now The Current Digest of the Russian Press. Each week, the Current Digest presents a selection of Russian-language press materials, carefully translated into English. The translations are intended for use in teaching and research. They are presented as documentary materials without elaboration or comment, and state the opinions and views of the original authors, not of the publisher of the journal.

The DNSA collection is the most comprehensive collection available of significant declassified U.S. government documents central to U.S. foreign and military policy since 1945. OU Libraries provides access to four sub-collections relating to Latin American policy and human rights, including El Salvador: The Making of U.S. Policy, 1977–1984; El Salvador: War, Peace, and Human Rights, 1980–1994; Nicaragua: The Making of U.S. Policy, 1978–1990; and Death Squads, Guerrilla War, Covert Operations, and Genocide: Guatemala and the U.S., 1954-1999.

The East African Newspapers collection provides insight into the region from the 1940s to the early 2000s. Coverage includes articles on the growth of decolonization, self-governance, famine, drought, political uprisings, and the post-colonial landscape. This growing collection currently includes over 475,000 pages total from three titles: Daily Nation (1958-2002, Kenya), The Ethiopian Herald (1943-1989, Ethiopia), and The Monitor ((1992-2003, Uganda).

El Caribe is a Spanish-language daily newspaper published in Santo Domingo and is one of the Dominican Republic's most influential and longest-running newspapers. Except for brief interruptions in publication for a month in 1962 and seven months in 1965, El Caribe has been a constant chronicle of national and international news, both for the Dominican Republic and the broader Caribbean region.

Wiley's Environmental Science and History Digital Archive focuses on critical aspects of environmental science, history, and anthropogenic change and includes unique and rare archival collections from multiple global sources. The archive includes manuscripts, images, maps, and photographs covering topics such as deforestation, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, ecology, botany, biodiversity, extinction, water sources, irrigation, wetlands, and hydrology.

Google Scholar enables you to search specifically for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts, and technical reports from all broad areas of research. Use Google Scholar to find articles from a wide variety of academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities, as well as scholarly articles available across the web.

Provides complete bibliographic citations to the contents of scholarly journals published around the world on Central and South America, Mexico, the Caribbean basin, the United States-Mexico border region, and Hispanics in the United States. Includes topics on current political, economic, and social issues. Some full text is available.

Covers the history of the world (excluding the United States and Canada) from 1450 to the present, including world history, military history, women's history, history of education, and more. Materials indexed include abstracts to books, journals, and dissertations.

This database indexes literature on Islam, the Middle East, and the Muslim world, including the main Muslim areas of Asia and Africa, as well as Muslim minorities elsewhere. Records included in the database cover almost 100 years of publications on the world of Islam. Over 3,000 journals are monitored for inclusion in the database, together with conference proceedings, monographs, multi-authored works, and book reviews.
